Loftis v. Signal Mtn ends in a draw

On Thursday, November 12, at Signal Mountain Middle, The Loftis Girls played a tough game against an excellent Signal Mountain team.  Jessica Lyons scored the first goal of the night for the Cougars. (Great Shot Jess!)  Casey Helmick, who played well all evening (including a great save in our goal), scored the second goal for the Cougars with an incredible outside shot that sailed over the goalie's head. (WOW!)  Sterlling Tindell provided excellent defense as always and Miranda Smith, Hayley Wyatt and Cameron Hinch worked hard all evening.  Sarah Elliott had a fantastic second half in the goal making numerous stops. (Great Game Sarah) The game ended in a 2-2 tie, but it was a great team effort and Coach Lockrow and Coach Seiler are very proud of ALL the girls.  Great Game gals!
